Our Business Studies BA (Hons) degree is an exciting and innovative business course without traditional assessment structures, more in-tune with the modern business culture. The course prepares you for either graduate employment or self-employment and is a great way to build on previous business study at BTEC level. At the end of the course you’ll have developed a professional video CV profile and gained valuable work experience. Studying this degree gives you access to the University’s Bloomberg terminals where you’ll use real-time data to analyse, model and inform your decision making, preparing you for the challenges of the real world. You’ll also use Synergy technology and a "flipped learning" approach to enable collaboration and group work, building interpersonal skills and encouraging communication.

Year 1 modules include:
Introduction to Human Resources and Management, Managing Accounting and Finance, Using Quantitative Methods in Business, and Marketing and Communications.
Year 2 modules include:
Business Development, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Funding Businesses, Work-based Learning module (option), Marketing for the Digital Age, Accelerator module (option), Business modules (option), and Professional Experience Year Placement (option).
Year 3 modules include:
Strategy in Action, Finance in Action (option), Accelerator module (option), Work-based Learning module (option), business modules, and Project or Dissertation.
You’ll be assessed through coursework, presentations, practical projects and seen time-constrained assignments.
