Our degree in Human Resource Management (HRM) will give you the skills you need to successfully manage organisations and their people in today’s fast-paced, and often challenging business environments.
You will learn about:

As part of the degree we will provide all of our students with direct, practical experience. It will certainly involve real life event management experience during your studies. However, it could also include the opportunity to take a work placement that will significantly enhance your CV and employment prospects.

Assessment method

Students are assessed in a variety of ways over the course of their undergraduate studies. The balance between the different forms of assessment is determined by the different aims and learning outcomes of the core and option modules. Assessment methods include academic essays, presentations, reports, simulation exercises and examinations.

Students can book appointments with academic skills tutors dedicated to helping deal with the practicalities of university work. Independent learning is an important aspect of all modules, as it enables students to develop both their subject specific and key skills. Independent learning is promoted through the feedback given to students, which takes several forms including small group and one-to-one discussions.
