The Certificate in Education and Training (CET) is a part time Level 4 course suitable for you if you want a qualification that focuses on practical teaching or if you are currently teaching and want to have your experience and practice accredited. You need to be teaching, or have a teaching placement to undertake this qualifacton as there is a requirement for a minimum of 30 hours of practice.
The course will run from October through to May with weekly sessions held during the day or evening to suit your working patterns (days and times to be confirmed at interview). Class duration will be a duration of 3 hours including an additional tutorials session to support your professional development plan.

Modules which you will study: Understanding Roles, Responsibilities and Relationship in Education and Training, Planning to meet the Needs of Learners, Delivering Teaching or Training, Assessing Learners and using Resources in Education and Training.
Each module will be assessed using a variety of methods, including reports, presentations, projects, essays, seminars and case studies.
