Heriot-Watt University has opted into the TEF and received a Silver award.
Meeting future energy requirements needs engineers with knowledge of energy resource processing, management and the environmental impact of energy generation. Fossil fuels such as gas and oil play a significant role in today's global energy market. Environmental developments with alternative energy sources mean that the technological background of engineers needs to become much broader. This degree encompasses a range of technologies from oil and gas production to renewable resources.
