The BSc (Hons) Psychology course is designed to give you a thorough introduction to all the core topics within the fascinating science of Psychology. You will consider why people behave the way that they do and how our minds work, developing an understanding of the mind, brain, behaviour and experience, and the complex way they work together. The course has been designed to help you develop important statistical skills and understand a variety of research methods, including both qualitative and quantitative methods. With accreditation by the British Psychological Society (BPS), on successful completion of the course you will be eligible for the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) of the BPS – the basic requirement to train as a professional psychologist.

This Psychology degree has standard entry requirements. To be eligible for this course through the standard entry requirements you must have either:
Two subjects at GCE A level or equivalent, plus passes at grade C or above in three subjects at GCSE level including mathematics or equivalent;
Completed a recognised Access Programme or equivalent.
