The programme is designed to provide a flexible yet structured framework to enable FdA graduates from related programmes, existing teachers and practitioners to pursue areas of specific interest, whilst building knowledge of practice and curriculum issues; enabling the continuation of professional development.
This is achieved by combining study of practice, curriculum and modern educational and children’s workforce priorities, alongside opportunities for personal research in to the impacts of your sector and your own practice. The aims of the proposed new programme are to provide you with the opportunity to place learning in the context of your workplace to address the CPPD needs of non-graduate teachers, those with interest in the modern education sector.
The programme will be assessed through coursework in a variety of formats including report, case study, presentation, independent research, portfolio and final dissertation. This work will draw on both theory and practical aspects of your involvement and practice within the wider education sector.
