University of Essex has opted into the TEF and received a Gold award.
You will be taught by our expert staff from your very first year covering the whole history of art and enabling you to choose from a variety of specialist options. Modules explore a wide variety of media, including architecture, urbanism, photography and video, as well as painting, drawing, printmaking, performance art and sculpture. At Essex you enjoy a structured programme of study trips at home and abroad and combine your interests with vocational modules designed with exhibitions and curations in mind.
Many of our courses offer a choice of optional modules to tailor your learning experience. More information about these can be found on the University of Essex website.
