The HNC in Applied Chemistry provides thorough grounding in the three theoretical branches of Chemistry, while allowing you to develop your knowledge and practical skills in a range of specialist areas of Applied Chemistry. It is recognised as an excellent preparation for those hoping to work in laboratories as technicians, and allows for interests ranging from Biochemistry/Medical Chemistry to Materials Science and Technology.
