Encompassing a whole spectrum of art and design methods, the HND involves the pursuit of visual languages and imagery that hold particular meaning and significance to the artist/ designer. You will also gain the knowledge and and skills to embark on a career in the creative, design and cultural industries, opportunities for work-based learning and experience in design, creative arts and cultural industries. It will give an opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification in two years of full-time study and a potential progression route to an Honours degree programme at another Institution.
Qualified teacher status (QTS)
To work as a teacher at a state school in England or Wales, you will need to achieve qualified teacher status (QTS). This is offered on this course for the following level:
