'The HNC Photography programme at North Kent College offers students the opportunity to develop their skills and understanding of photography within a broad range of vocational and academic contexts - practical skills and image making are underpinned by contextual & historical studies.
Students will acquire the technical and practical skills required to work as freelance photographer or to gain a position in the creative industries, and those wishing to proceed onto a top-up year (Level 6) of a BA (Hons) programme will be well prepared, with an awareness of contemporary practice and a developed portfolio. Professional practice and project management skills are encouraged through independent live work and our exciting group exhibitions held in London each year'.
