This programme is geared towards the realities of working as a modern manager and our face-to-face delivery consists of a highly effective combination of lectures, small group sessions and blended learning opportunities. The small group sessions, in particular, have a strong emphasis on contextual student learning, involving practical skills sessions to prepare you for what it's really like to work in management settings whilst facing managerial challenges.

Modules include: Accounting and decision making; knowledge management and information systems strategy; markets and marketing; leadership and change management; competitive intelligence; operations management and service excellence; enterprise risk management; strategy; marketing management; innovation management; consultancy project or academic and career skills project.

Assessment method

Assessment is module-by-module using a combination of coursework, closed-book exams and supervised projects.

Entry requirements

A 2.2 Honours degree from a recognised university or the equivalent international qualification; or an acceptable professional qualification equivalent; or a pass in the Graduate Entry Examination; an acceptable professional qualification equivalent such as the CMI, ILM at level 6 or above. Following the review of applications, you may be required to: Attend a face-to-face interview; take part in a telephone interview; submit a Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) score of 550 or above; submit a Graduate Records Examination (GRE) of 500 for Verbal and 500 for Quantitative. The median GRE score for each section ranges from 550-625 per section, with the median total around 1200. Evidence that you have been instructed and assessed predominantly in English for a significant part of your educational career; or IELTS score of 6.5 overall with no less than 6.5 in any sub-component. If you obtain a score of 6.5 overall with 6.0 in any of the sub-components you will have to attend in-sessional Study Skills Support classes alongside the programme during the first term of studies at no additional cost.
