It’s vital to know how leaders and managers run organisations in the digital age. As a result, BPP’s MSc Management programme has been developed to help you gain a core understanding and competency of modern management theories. Professional Development Planning Embedded in the 18-month option, the PDP programme can contribute to your success at finding jobs and post-study work visa opportunities. It provides a structured approach to professional development, helping you gain the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to sustain a career in your chosen field. You will receive additional sessions which run alongside academic terms to prepare for the six months of career practice which may include projects, voluntary works, placement or internship opportunities.

Term 1 - Personal Effectiveness (15 Credits); Leading Through Digital Disruption (15 Credits); Global Strategy and Sustainability (30 Credits) Term 2- Data Driven Decisions for Business (15 Credits); Customer Experience Strategy (15 Credits); Management Essentials (30 Credits) Term 3 - Executive Leadership and Governance (30 Credits); Business Project (30 Credits) Six-month Professional Development opportunities (exclusive to 18-month programme) After 12 months of academic study, students who chose to follow the 18-month programme can benefit from a range of opportunities, including:*

  • Paid work placement (face-to-face or online)
  • Volunteering
  • Virtual career development (LinkedIn Learning)
  • A simulation or project via the virtual work experience (Forage)
*Please note, if you fall behind with your studies and cannot progress on your Master’s programme, you will not be eligible for the placement interview process. The Placements team works with an extensive range of employers to find work placement opportunities for our students. Placements may vary in length and may be paid or unpaid.

Assessment method

The programme features a variety of assessments including coursework and examinations. Coursework is in the form of essays, reports or case studies, while group or individual presentations may be required to assess other competencies. Examinations will be with written elements or multiple-choice questions and may be unseen or part-seen, where assessment material is released in advance.

Entry requirements

The entry requirements to study the MSc Management are as follows: - A minimum of a 2:2 Honours degree from a UK or recognised international university or equivalent such as the CMI, ILM, CIM, CIMA at Level 6 or above. Following a review of applications, you may be required to: - Attend a face-to-face or Skype interview, or - Take part in a telephone interview Don’t meet the entry requirements? English language requirements

To study at BPP, it is important that you are able to communicate and engage in English effectively in an academic setting. If English is not your first language, you will be required to provide proof of your ability – for reading, writing, listening and speaking in English.
