Assessment method

How will I be assessed?
Assessments have been designed to give you the opportunity to develop skills, experience and the critical thinking needed to excel within the Health and Fitness industry. Written reports, presentations, reflective journals, research projects, practical assessments, exams, work placementsand lab reports will be used to assess your progress as well as recording your impact whilst on a work placement.
How will my progress be monitored?
Your development and progress will be monitored through regular one-to-one tutorials and assessment of project work. You will also have a Personal Tutor who will support you with your studies.

Qualification Offer Further information
UCAS Tariff 90 - 96 points UCAS has introduced a new tariff for courses starting from September 2017. This means the points you will be asked for are different to previous years but the grades you receive have not changed. As a guideline, a typical offer would require you to obtain a UCAS tariff score of between 90-96 points, based on your Level 3 studies.  Alternatively a Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification will be accepted accompanied by an entry exam. We require that all applicants have at least a C in GCSE English and Maths. Mature candidates will be considered on a individual basis and be required to complete an entry exam.
