Electrical and electronic engineers are responsible for the design, installation, commissioning and operation of engineering services and therefore have global and local environmental responsibilities.
Year 1 (Level 4): • mathematics • electrical and electronic principles • computer engineering and microprocessors • dynamics, control and instrumentation • design of electrical installations • academic and employability skills • electro hydraulics and pneumatics Year 2 (Level 5): • programmable logic controllers • management innovation and sustainability • electrical power • group project • electrical principles theory • digital signal processing and communications.
Assessment is via assignments and examinations.
