The world of business is dynamic and exciting, offering today's business undergraduates vast career opportunities. Human resources, logistics and marketing are just some industry sectors graduates can successfully progress into. The course is designed to develop student's commercial awareness through the examination of contemporary business issues, entrepreneurship, leadership and management. It is also designed to equip graduates with the skills required for the rapidly changing business environment.
Previous students have progressed into positions in the public and private sector, working in managerial, supervisory and administrative roles. Students have also progressed onto the College's BA (Hons) in Business Administration Top-Up Degree which is delivered in partnership with the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan).

This course includes units covering: Business and the Business Environment, Marketing Essentials, Human Resource Management, Management and Operations, Management Accounting, Managing a Successful Business Project, Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management, Financial Accounting, Organisational Behaviour, Business Strategy, Developing Individuals, Teams and Organisations, Brand Management, Planning for Growth and Consumer Behaviour and Insight.
The programmes are assessed through a variety of emthods, including written assignments, reports and presentations.
