University of Suffolk has opted into the TEF and received a Bronze award.
The BSc (Hons) Computer Games Technology offers the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills much sought after by the games industry. The course covers essential topics for an aspiring Game Developer including Game Engines, Graphics, Modelling, Animation, Artificial Intelligence, Physics, Platform Architecture and Audio. Students will develop games on various platforms with the programming and creative tools that games industry professionals use to deliver awesome entertainment experiences. Students will be encouraged to showcase their talents by building a professional portfolio, exhibiting their work, entering competitions and attending industry events. The course has been designed in collaboration with Game Developers and with reference to Game Industry standards. The facilities at our Bury St Edmunds campus will provide a studio environment for game production with the technology and support that will help students to reach their full potential.
