Overview

Studied as a joint honours degree, you will explore English Literature in some of the immensely varied contexts of its production, alongside the practical business of how to research and communicate what is happening in the world, now. English Literature at Worcester will introduce you to cutting-edge thinking in spheres as diverse as Shakespeare in translation, children’s literature, contemporary American writing and ecocriticism. Journalism at Worcester will equip you to work in today’s multi-platform media environment and enable you to apply for both journalism and communications roles once you have graduated.
