University of Birmingham has opted into the TEF and received a Gold award.
This distinctive programme allows you to explore significant dimensions of public and private life, such as political thinking, contemporary issues in religion and critical philosophical enquiry. You will be free to develop your specific and separate interests and skills in these three areas, the overall programme will also nurture a critical discussion in-between the disciplines and address some of the most important issues of our time. You will enjoy a rich and engaging academic experience.
First-year modules cover a broad base of the subject and are designed to introduce you to ways of studying at university. By the final year the modules you take will become more specialised and reflect the research expertise of the academic staff. More detailed module information can be found on the ‘Course detail’ tab on the University of Birmingham’s coursefinder web pages.
