Enhance your understanding of the world of business with our popular degree. This course provides you with a sound background in all areas of the world of business, providing students with an understanding of organisations, their structure management and culture within the changing environment in which they operate. Students will develop an understanding of business functions, their relationship to each other and how these functions contribute to the success of the organisation.

•Management and the Law - optional unit
In the final year, the following modules are covered:
•Financial Management
•Strategic Marketing
•Strategic Management and Leadership

•Human Resource Management
•Management Project

Assessment method

We place particular emphasis on research and analysis through project work with external organisations. In addition, a ‘learning contract’ module enables you to develop an area of research of your choice, and produce a dissertation. You will also have opportunities to develop your skills in information management, prioritising, and interpersonal relationships. The course is assessed by means of 80% coursework and 20% tests or exams. continuous assessment processes mean that individual and group assignments count towards your final grade, as do projects and formal written exams
