Specialist engineering: Harper Adams concentrates on the teaching of specialist mechanical engineering courses aimed at the agricultural and off highway industries. Our Agricultural Engineering graduates are leading the development of machinery and systems to support the challenges of the global agricultural industry, whilst our Off Road Vehicle Design graduates are involved in developing the next generation of off highway vehicles in industries including military, construction and agriculture. The university's reputation for excellent teaching and applied research is built on a long and successful history of supplying industry with high calibre engineers who already have a proven ability to deliver solutions to complex real world problems.

UCAS Tariff 136 points For applicants from an A-level background, offers would typically require three A level subjects with an equivalent of AAB (136 UCAS points) to include Mathematics.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016) D*D*D* For applicants studying the BTEC Extended Diploma route there is an additional requirement for an A grade in A level Maths
Access to HE Diploma D: 30 credits
M: 15 credits
Access course needs to be passed with 45 units at level 3 to include 30 at Distinction and 15 at Merit. Applicants must have 15 credits in Maths passed with distinction.
Scottish Higher AAAB Must include Maths
GCSE/National 4/National 5 All applicants must have a minimum of at least 5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above including English Language, Maths and a Science.
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme 30 points pass with 30 overall with a relevant subject passed with 6 at Higher level.
Leaving Certificate - Higher Level (Ireland) (first awarded in 2017) H1, H2, H2, H2 must include Maths.
AAAB under previous system.
Welsh Baccalaureate - Advanced Skills Challenge Certificate (first teaching September 2015) We accept the Welsh Baccalaureate as equivalent to a full A level. For further information please contact the Admissions team.
