University Centre Farnborough has opted into the TEF and received a Bronze award.
This qualification prepares you for employment in the IT and computing industry. It offers a progression route into a number of roles, generalists can enter system management, while ICT system support specialists can install or manage IT networks.
This course is ideal for students who have successfully completed the Level 3 Extended Diploma in IT or A-level equivalent or for other suitable applicants wishing to pursue a career in Computing and Systems development.
How will I be assessed?
A wide range of assessment methods are used in this programme, which have been chosen to suit the subject material being taught. The range of assessment methods you will experience will give you the confidence and capability to complete the course and to progress further in your career. Your Tutor will be on hand to provide support during the assessment process and discuss any queries you may have. The range of assessment methods used in this programme includes:

Project report and Project presentation
Over the course you will build up enough units to achieve an HNC and can then select extra units to develop your progression to an HND.
