This course will help students to develop their career as a business manager and if they are looking to further their career in areas of healthcare management or environmental and sustainability management, then there are 2 specialist pathways provided to allow students to do this. We provide students with established theories of management and business administration, and invite them to question their practicalities and come up with new strategies.

Stage 1: business and economic environment; developing management skills; organisational behaviour. Stage 2: managing, leading and developing people; managing financial performance; managing marketing promotion and sales. Stage 3: strategic management in an international context; business processes and operations management; international entrepreneurship and innovation.

Assessment method

Assessment is of a practical nature and will be examination based. There are many opportunities to assess your progress throughout the modules and there is a facility for a practice examination that provides feedback on your performance.

Entry requirements

An honours degree of a British University or equivalent institution. An equivalent graduate level qualification from an overseas university or equivalent institution. A graduate level professional qualification in an appropriate field of study. A pre-masters programme.

EU / International students: IELTS 6.0 overall with 5.5 minimum in all bands.
