This is a two year, full time programme franchised from the University of South Wales which is designed to give students a broad range of knowledge and experience in the business and financial sectors. The course provides students with the opportunity to build a broad knowledge base of business functions / operations and enhance academic progression and careers prospects.
Year 1 (Level 4) modules: • foundations of marketing • academic and professional development • entrepreneurship and business start-up • management of financial information • economics, law and regulation • work and organisational behaviour Year 2 (Level 5) modules: • the wider role of the accountant • business and financial analysis • accounting for managers • strategic business analysis • live research project • managing an enterprise.
Assessment is by assignment, presentations, case studies and examinations.
