Furness College has opted into the TEF and received a Silver award.
This programme is designed for students who wish to upgrade their skills and knowledge to progress professionally in the field of Health and Social Care. Students will develop an understanding of the core skills, values and issues that underpin effective practice and provision of services. They will be able to identify strategies to improve health and well-being and to demonstrate leadership and assessment skills in their area of practice.
The programme will be as follows for full-time students. Part-time students will study four modules each year:

Evidence Based Practice
