Yeovil College University Centre has opted into the TEF and received a Provisional award.
The International Travel and Tourism Management Higher National Diploma will allow students to achieve the first year of a degree whilst undertaking placements within a relevant industry setting. The programme offers the opportunity to help build the knowledge and understanding required to begin a journey into an exciting career in the industry.
Level 4 Units: Contemporary Travel and Tourism Industry, Managing Customer Experience, Professional Identity and Practice, Travel and Tourism Business Toolkit, Leadership and Management Service Industries, Global Tourism Destinations, Tour Operations Management, Work Experience
Level 5 Units: Research Project, Tourism Consumer Behaviour and Insights, Special Interest Tourism, Cruise Management, Organisational Behaviour, Pitching and Negotiating Skills, Customer Value Management
The International Travel and Tourism Management qualification is assessed using internally assessed assignments and an assignment may take a variety of forms, including practical and written types, completed independently by students (either alone or in a team).
Qualified teacher status (QTS)
To work as a teacher at a state school in England or Wales, you will need to achieve qualified teacher status (QTS). This is offered on this course for the following level:
