All our LLB courses are Qualifying Law Degrees which offer the additional opportunity to specialise in an area of law. Accredited by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, and the Bar Standards Board, this all-encompassing law degree course will encourage you to investigate areas of interest, as well as gaining as much experience as possible by attending court and undertaking work placements. We offer three undergraduate pathways; LLB (Hons) Law, LLB (Hons) Entertainment Law and LLB (Hons) Law with Politics.
If you are an international applicant (non-UK or non-EU) the placement year is optional for you. If you don't wish to undertake a placement year you can apply for the 3 year LLB (Hons) course using this UCAS code M101. We hope this gives you the flexibility to decide what’s best to suit your needs as an international student. The work placement is compulsory for UK and EU students.
You will study a range of subject areas including legal skills, contract law, public law, criminal law, equality & law of trusts, commercial law & transactions, law of torts, land law, family law, entertainment law, intellectual property law, corporate law & governance, employment law and law of international trade.
