Core modules include: Research methods for business and management; financial management; international accounting; international tax theory and policy; postgraduate major project. Optional modules include: Strategic management accounting; forensic accounting (forensic analysis and investigation); non-commercial governance.

Assessment method

Assessment is based on feedback in class on topics of current interest, and from textual material, research papers and articles; evidence of critical reflection in assignments, reports and projects; formal written and oral presentations; exams.

Entry requirements

Minimum 2.2 Honours degree in accounting, or a related discipline, together with an accounting conversion course or professional qualification. If English is not the 1st language students are expected to demonstrate a certified level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.5, or equivalent. Students with other awards, including those from non-UK universities, are encouraged to apply.
