The BSc in Business and Management with German within the Aberystwyth Business School will prepare you for the perfect introduction to a career in the business world. This degree is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). Our teaching experts will guide you through areas of marketing, operations management, finance, accounting, strategy and human resource management, entrepreneurship in addition to the range of cutting-edge specialist modules. You will also see your German language competencies improve with the Department of Modern Languages, where you will learn the language and the culture. This degree is engineered for a student who wants to excel and succeed to the top level of global business management practice.

Changes in accounting practices; Changes in the regulatory and legal environment; Strategic marketing and digital marketing; German literature; European Culture; The Language of German Business and intensive German language development that focuses on the four key areas of aural, writing, translation and oral.
A highlight for all students on this course is the year abroad. All of our students have the choice of studying or working abroad (undertaking a paid or unpaid placement). We are partnered with various Universities in Germany and other German-speaking countries around the world. The year abroad is where our graduates are more distinguished than others. Upon successful completion of the year abroad, students return with an increased skill set, stronger language competencies and the ability to adapt in any situation.
Upon completion of this degree, you will have developed a broad understanding of management in practice; Possess the ability to communicate in both English and German simultaneously; In depth knowledge of trade and commerce in both the public and private sector; A solid grasp in the complexity of management challenges and the combined impact of the economic, financial, human and legal issues that leaders encounters.

A minimum grade C or grade 4 pass in GCSE (or equivalent) English or Welsh is a requirement for entry to all our degree schemes. Level 3 KS/FS Communication may be acceptable in lieu of GCSE English or Welsh. For this degree scheme minimum grade C or grade 4 pass in GCSE (or equivalent) Mathematics is also required. GCSE Mathematics-Numeracy is acceptable in lieu of GCSE Mathematics.
