The Foundation Year provides a route onto a degree if you don’t have the qualifications, or have not studied advanced level subjects sufficiently related to your course of choice, but have the ability to study a degree.

The Foundation Year is part of our BA (Hons) Hospitality Business Management degree course. You apply for a 4 year full time or 5 year sandwich degree, including the Foundation Year.

Manchester has a thriving hospitality industry. And you’ll be immersed in it as soon as you start the course. With business visits, guest lectures, recruitment events, and work experience, you’ll be exploring the ins and outs of the sector in no time.

Ranked within the top 10 Hospitality Management degrees in the UK by the Guardian University League Tables 2018, and 44th in the world by QS World University subject rankings 2018, the BA (Hons) Hospitality Business Management course is designed to prepare you for a management career in the UK and international hospitality industries.
