This degree will provide you with an understanding of financial systems and models, including quantitative analysis and management accounting control systems, as well as practical skills using software and systems such as MS Excel, MS Access, Visual Studio, SAP ERP 6.0 and SAGE 50.

You will have the option to undertake a work placement in your third year, providing insight and practical skills which employers seek in graduates.
Previous university students have secured placement years at the NHS and Disney.

This course is accredited by CIMA and ACCA. This means that if you successfully complete this degree with the relevant module options, you will be exempt from a number of exam papers leading to professional qualifications from ACCA, AIA, CIMA and CIPFA. This will set you on the path to becoming a qualified accountant and increasing your earning potential.

Graduates may pursue a career as a business or financial analyst or work in financial modelling for large organisations. You may also consider undertaking a trainee accountancy position or pursuing roles in specialist finance or general business management.
