Course details

Modules

In your first year you will study a mixture of legal and management subjects. These will give you an insight into the law-making process, the manner in which contractual relationships are regulated, the ways in which financial performance is measured as well as the economic and psychological issues associated with managing (and working within) organisations. In the second year the proportion of your time spent studying law will increase. This will give you a more detailed insight into the law making process and your management and business skills are developed further through your participation on Aston Business School core modules. The final year builds on the first three years and provides you with a thorough knowledge of the law as it affects corporate activity and employer/employee relationships. The legal and practical issues associated with business activities that cross national frontiers are also explored as are the techniques used to develop strategy within organisations.
