On the course you’ll use industry-standard equipment to carry out assignments in network configuration and management. And you’ll
disassemble, rebuild and configure a PC at subcomponent level. BEng programmes include advanced mathematics, which many recruiters look favourably on.

Year 2: Computer networks; Object oriented software for engineers; Operating systems and multimedia engineering; Engineering software C++; Introduction to communication systems and networks; Managing the engineering process. Year 3: Optional placement year. Year 4: Network technologies and design; Advanced computer engineering; Project; Software engineering; Innovation and enterprise; Distributed and embedded real-time systems.
