This highly unique degree course has been designed in conjunction with industry experts to equip students who wish to work in the field of therapy and rehabilitation. Designed not only to allow students to evaluate, design and administer a range of therapy treatments, graduates will also be 'client-ready' and coached in personal skills so as to be ready to work within a related therapy/rehabilitation organisation.

Assessment method

Teaching on this programme aims to maximise on the unique facilities offered at Greenwich Equestrian Centre; as such there is high practical content in the course. Student-centred theory-based sessions take place in well-equipped classrooms, lecture theatres, laboratories and computer suites.

The college’s excellent industry links provide ample opportunity for trips to equestrian businesses, as well as frequent involvement from industry professional to give lectures and practical demonstrations.

Assessment activities range from essays, reports and portfolios to website production, practical demonstrations and client consultations. They are designed to mimic real-life, therapy-based activities, creating realistic and applied teaching and learning activities.

Qualified teacher status (QTS)

To work as a teacher at a state school in England or Wales, you will need to achieve qualified teacher status (QTS). This is offered on this course for the following level:

UCAS Tariff 64 points UCAS points are made up from A Levels, with one in a science based subject, or a relevant Level 3 vocational qualification. All applicants should have GCSE Grade C or above in English, Maths and Science and have spent two years studying at Level 3.
