If you have ever been curious about historical cultures in the UK, particularly European Celts and their branches, or German invaders offering Roman culture and legacy, you will love this programme. It offers you in-depth insight about kingdoms, cultures, invasions and historical accounts. It explores who the British really are and why. The MLitt Celtic and Anglo-Saxon Studies examines theories, methodology in medieval languages, history and literature of Germanic, Celtic and Gaelic regions.

Assessment varies from course to course within the programme. All work is double marked and submitted to an external examiner for checking.
A first degree in an appropriate discipline. The English Language Requirement for all College of Arts and Social Sciences Masters programmes is an IELTS of 6.5 with 6.0 in the writing and reading (or equivalent TOEFL iBT or PTE).
