Staffordshire University has opted into the TEF and received a Gold award.
This versatile Biological Science degree is ideal if you have a broad interest in biology and would like some flexibility to tailor a course to your own interests – especially if you’re considering a career in teaching, business, management or other science-related professions. If you have a more specialist interest, this course also has the facility to allow you to focus in areas ranging from molecular biology of disease to conserving animals.
If you would like to study for an advanced qualification, we offer an integrated Masters MSci course over four years.
If you do not meet our entry requirements for degree level study, BSc (Hons) with a Foundation Year is available.
On successful completion of study, we will issue:
BSc (Hons) Biological Science (with a placement year)
You will attend a work placement between the second and final years of the course, our placement staff will work with you to identify a suitable location for your work placement. Please also note that you are responsible for any costs incurred in travelling to and from your work placement, and for any accommodation costs.
