Core modules: Leadership in Action; Marketing across Boundaries; Finance for Managers; Leading & Managing Ethically; Strategic Management; Preparing for Research Consultancy; Management Research in Action;
Optional modules: Creative thinking and problem solving for managers; managing excellence in processes; international marketing management; strategic issues for e-business; managing in the service economy.

Assessment method

Assessment for each taught module is normally by submission of 1 or 2 pieces of work and/or a piece of in class work totalling 4000 words, or equivalent; there is also a research project or dissertation of 12000 words.


Entry requirements

An honours degree (minimum 2:2) or equivalent qualification. Leadership experience can be recognised as the equivalent to a degree.
A minimum two years’ managerial work experience is normally required, but exceptionally candidates without managerial responsibilities can be considered for the course after completing a leadership paper and interview.
