Hertford Regional College has opted into the TEF and received a Silver award.
This is a two year, part time programme which leads to an intial teaching qualification for those who teach or intend to teach in further education colleges, sixth-form colleges, adult education centres, art colleges, health-care or community organisations, the public services and a wide range of commercial and voluntary organisations. At the end of the programme you will be able to:
Teach competently within your subject specialist area
Reflect critically on a range of professional issues and practices
Take responsibility for identifying your own continuing professional development.
The course is validated by the University of Greenwich and is equivalent to the Diploma in Education and Training providing a full teaching qualification for those wishing to teach in the post 14 and adult sector.

100 hours teaching practice (50 in each year of study)
