You can choose to study similar modules to your counterparts back in Nottingham or expand your knowledge by taking other options (teaching is typically in German).

Course details

Modules

In year one you will study the Law of Contract, Public Law and Understanding Law plus core and introductory language modules. Second-year studies incorporate core modules in Criminal Law, Foundations of Tort and Land Law, as well as language modules. You will also take Civil Law: A Comparative Introduction. This ensures that you are able to spend your third year abroad – equipped not only with the language skills required, but also with a legal grounding that will widen your learning opportunities.
