This course provides a solid foundation for a career in law, providing you with a legal qualification in English law alongside an appreciation of European and German law. With a compulsory year abroad, students also develop advanced language skills and cultural awareness of another country.

Modules

Your first and second years will include compulsory law and language modules. This is designed to ensure that you are able to spend the third year abroad - equipped not only with the language skills required, but also with a legal grounding that will widen your learning opportunities in the host country. During your third year, you will be expected to study in Germany. In your final year, you will study compulsory law and language modules as well as optional language modules.
