BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING: Biomedical engineering is about finding engineering solutions to medical problems. As a rapidly expanding industry, biomedical engineering meets the demands of healthcare through the development of technology.
You’ll take part in practical activities including visits to local hospitals. You will benefit from our strong links with industry and the NHS, with engineers and clinicians contributing to lectures, projects and case studies, as well as offering work placements.

Applicants will receive an offer conditional on attaining AAB. Applicants who achieve AAB are guaranteed entry. Applicants who achieve grades less than AAB but higher than BBB will be considered for entry.

SQA applicants entering from S5 are required to achieve AAAA/AAABB by the end of S5. Applicants who achieve less than AAAA/AAABB by the end of S5 but achieved at least ABBB MAY receive a conditional offer, but a decision will not be made on these applications until March once all applications have been reviewed. Conditional offers to these applicants will require them to achieve AAAAAB cumulatively by the end of S6.
