Building Services Engineering – the design and maintenance of all the things that make a building safe, comfortable, energy efficient and functional – is a specialist branch of engineering particularly in
demand. Energy conservation and sustainability feature strongly on the course. And as it’s a BEng degree, it also includes advanced applied mathematics, which many recruiters look on favourably. There’s also the option to spend a sandwich year working in an industry placement.
