If you are a creative, imaginative person, then this Foundation Degree is perfect for you. The field of illustration is a vibrant and dynamic form of expression, which continues to evolve. This course will provide you with a broad range of skills that will mould you into an independent and capable practitioner. It will enable you to adapt and succeed in illustrative practice, whilst developing an experimental approach to visual communication. The course considers a variety of relevant topics and fields, including illustration (editorial, reportage, character development and graphic novels), book arts, printmaking, digital drawing, typography, animation, photography and fine art. Drawing is a central component of the course and is therefore critical to the development of your ideas.
