Explore the exciting and rapidly evolving area of visual effects utilising 3d Animation, Motion Capture, Green Screen and Pyro Effects using Industry standard software, such as Autodesk Maya, Houdini FX, Realflow and Nuke-X as well as much more. Explore how various techniques are implemented within the film, television and computer games industries and build a personalised portfolio to help you get started within your career. HOW YOU WILL LEARN
There’s a mixture of lectures, seminars, Digital online tutorials, practical workshops, screenings, discussion and independent study. You will also work with other students on projects, which is good preparation for your career, since the visual effects and post-production industry is highly collaborative.

CAREERS AND EMPLOYABILITY
By the time you finish your BA in CGI and Visual Effects, you will have a strong set of specialised skills within 3D, Filming and Compositing Plus an impressive showreel of work. You can set your sights on roles such as FX Artist, Animator, Compositor, Games Artist, 3D Modeller, Roto Artist, Layout Artist, Lighter or Match Move Artist.
