This two-year programme is designed to produce competent people who can be an immediate asset to organisations and companies who employ them. It is based on a successful programme that has evolved over a number of years and has a long track record of giving students access to careers in the Communication and Computing Industries, as well as progression to the final year of related BSc programmes. The programme mixes the necessary academic standard with a high level of practical design, analysis and practice. The programme provides it provides the following distinctive features.
The programme will allow students the opportunity to attain the network industry standard Cisco Certified Network Associate, CompTIA A+ and Security+. This will provide students with a substantial advantage in obtaining work placement positions
