This programme will provide you with the opportunity to combine the process of media production with the professional working environment. Skills will focus predominantly on you as a creator and producer, as well as ensuring you have the opportunity to experience an experimental approach to your work. Through various encounters, a broad perspective of the industry in the community will be achieved.
We will provide an educational foundation for a range of creative, technical and management careers in media, and ensure our delivery is geared towards current practice using industry-standard equipment. We will include a broad range of activities that encourage synergy with different media products. We will
also provide excellent academic underpinning skills for creative thinking and enable students to be employment-ready by working on key projects that seek to make an immediate contribution to employment.
Learning activities include lectures, workshops and practical sessions, located in the TV studio and Creative Arts Centre. It is envisaged that you will work on location and with industry professionals in order to fully appreciate work related experience. A strong emphasis is placed on working and learning with others and you are regularly set tasks to complete in partnership with other students.
