From professional accountancy to finance, from banking to insurance, this course could be a stepping-stone to a career in an exciting profession. We’ll give you the chance to get a good overview of all areas of accountancy and finance to help improve your employability in your chosen field.
Every business asks different things of its accountants and finance experts. You could end up being responsible for cash flow, or carrying out financial audits, for example. So we’ll start by giving you a thorough grounding in all areas of finance, before offering you the chance to specialise in particular areas.
You’ll get a real feel for what’s behind any successful organisation – how it’s financed and managed. You’ll also be taught by a range of people who have strong academic backgrounds and experience in the professional world.
You’ll have access to experts from some of the leading accounting firms in the UK. In fact you’ll be able to work with PwC who run an annual competition in your first year.
You’ll also be able to connect with other leading international, national and local accounting firms thanks to our innovative Partners in Accountancy scheme. It’s all designed to help you to develop your professional knowledge and your employability.
In your third year we’ll give you the opportunity to take a placement year that could see you working in a business.
