Creative Practitioners (Rockschool)

This course will provide a flexible, vocationally relevant suite of creative qualifications at Level 4 which will provide you with the skills to develop realistic employment opportunities in the creative industries.

Content

The Creative Practitioners Qualifications are a flexible, relevant and practically-orientated route which assesses the process of artist/brand development through a specified time period in response to personalised target setting and to internal and external stimuli.

• Market Analysis
• Brand Development
• Skills Development
• Marketing a Brand
• Presenting the Brand
• Evaluating Brand Development

Assessment

You are expected to be largely independent and self-supporting in the creation of the evidence submitted for assessment and therefore, are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning processes and show a high level of initiative and self-motivation.

All assessment undertaken within this qualification is internal assessment. Internal assessment is the process by which staff and will provide assessment opportunities for assessing the work which you produce to ensure you have met the standards required by the qualification.

Equivalent professional or academic qualifications (such as NVQ 3) will also be
considered please contact Admissions for further information. Applications from those holding non-tariff point qualifications in relevant subject areas (such as work based NVQ 3s) are welcome.
Grade C/4 or above at GCSE (or Level 2 equivalent) in and English is required.
If English is not your first language you should have IELTS Band 6 or equivalent with no element below 5.5. Other equivalent Secure English Languages Tests (SELT) are welcome.
Mature applicants - Appropriately experienced applicants will be considered.
