University of Wales Trinity Saint David has opted into the TEF and received a Silver award.
The BA in Celtic Studies introduces students to the Celtic languages and their social history and allows students to explore various aspects of the history, literature and culture of the Celtic regions including Celtic sanctity and spirituality, Celtic myths and legends, place-names, archaeology and historic landscapes, medieval poetry, the druids, modern literature and creative writing. No previous knowledge of the Celtic languages is needed and students will be given the opportunity to learn Welsh.
