How do we investigate, assess and treat mental and physical wellbeing? Our Psychology with Clinical Psychology degree offers you broad training in psychology along with the exploration of the models currently used in clinical research and practice. As a student on the Psychology with Clinical Psychology and a Placement Year programme, you spend a year working with practising Psychologists. Our British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited degree enables you to confront the issues that humans face with psychology's scientific principles. From brain injury to prejudice reduction, child development to offending behaviour and rehabilitation. We provide you with the tools to develop interventions for hospitals, schools and businesses, making a difference to society through innovations in policy and research. Modules

You study the core areas required for accreditation: statistics, biological and general psychology, social and developmental psychology, cognitive psychology, child development and personality. Clinical psychology will feature throughout your degree in modules and work on a reflective diary. Your Placement Year could be spent working in a clinically-relevant settings where you’ll develop high level professional skills.
