York Law School offers an innovative and distinctive programme of studies relevant to today's society. Our LLB degree mixes academic robustness with applied, practical and inter-disciplinary perspectives, ensuring you develop an understanding of law in all its contexts. LLB is taught mainly through problem based learning. This method will develop your skills of analysis, reasoning and judgement as you work on topical questions with ethical, political and social dimensions. Through it you will also develop communication and project management skills which will enhance your effectiveness in the world of work.
